Karachi: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement on Friday demanded of the Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry to take suo motu notice of ANP Senator Ilyas Bilour for what it said confession to the killing of innocent people in Karachi.
Speaking at a press conference, MQM leader Faisal Sabzwari said that the ANP lawmaker told a TV channel that it was ANP, which brought the MQM under control. Mr Sabzwari said that Bilour’s statement was tantamount to confess that MQM workers and innocent citizens of Karachi were killed by the ANP.
The MQM leader alleged that ANP government in KPK had failed due to its anti-people policies, adding that the party was doing politics on corpses and wanted people of Karachi to pit against each other.
