Agencies shift detainees from Peshawar hospital to Islamabad on SC orders

Islamabad: Security forces have shifted four detainees out of seven from Peshawar Leading Hospital so that they could be produced before the Supreme Court as it ordered ISI and MI to bring them in the court at any cost.
According to media reports, the detainees were shifted by unidentified men wearing veils to hide their faces. Three of them were carried on wheelchairs while another on stretcher.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry observed during the hearing that if country’s prime minister could appear in the court then everybody could do so.
The CJ remarked that the bench would sit unless the detainees are produced.   The CJ said the court would summoned even senior to secretary defence.
He said the defence secretary should answer where were the missing persons. Attorney General Maulvi Anwarul Haq and Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa Advocate General were also present during the hearing.
