Islamabad: Advisor to Prime Minister on Finance Abdul Hafeez Shaikh has said that federal budget for fiscal year 2012-13 would be presented in the National Assembly in May this year.
According to a private TV channel, the advisor was briefing the special meeting of the federal cabinet which held here to deliberate over prevailing political situation and other important issues.
He told the cabinet that during the last two year the federal government had provided about 900 billion rupees to the provinces under different heads.
