Peshawar: A US citizen William Charles was arrested has been detained in Peshawar airport on Tuesday morning, sources said.
According to the airport sources, the detainee, who is said to be a US citizen and personnel of consulate, was carrying illicit arms with him.

The foreigner has been shifted to Airport Police Station and the authorities are investigating him.
The foreigner had to travel from Peshawar to Islamabad via flight PIA PK-218, sources added.
Official sources said that the accused is a an employee of US Consulate, enjoying diplomatic immunity against any proceedings.
