Pakistan ready to face England in first ODI today


Dubai: After completing historic whitewash against world no. 1 test team England, Pakistan is ready to face again in first one-day international match at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi here on Monday. 
Talking to media in Abu Dhabi England ODI captain Alastair Cook has said that his team failed to give good performance in test series but now it was a new format, the squad’s introduced six new faces, it’s brought a freshness and enthusiasm to the squad and hopefully we can start well tomorrow.”
On the other hand, Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq voicing concerns over the inconsistency in the Pakistan batting line-up, he said while he was satisfied with the bowling options for the ODI series, it was the batting that was a cause of concern for him.
“I think the batting has to be more stable and consistent. England might have lost the Test series but they will be a different side in the one-day series and we can’t take them lightly,” he said in an interview.
