Islamabad: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar on Saturday strongly condemned the US Congress resolution on Balochistan and said that the resolution was against the United Nations (UN) charter and International laws.
Khar said that the resolution was tabled to create differences and to create misunderstandings among the people of both the countries.
He expressed the hope that the US Congress would not support the resolution.
Khar further said that the resolution was an individual act by some US Congressmen. “Pakistani Parliament has rejected the discussions on Balochistan issue in US Congress Committee of Foreign Affairs,” she added.
On Friday, a bill regarding the violation of Human Rights in Balochistan was tabled in the US Congress.
