Karzai meets President Zardari


Islamabad: Afghan President Hamid Karzai on Thursday called on his Pakistani counterpart Asif Ali Zardari during his first visit to Pakistan since Nato attack on Pakistani posts that killed 26 soldiers.
Both the leaders discussed matters related to Afghan trade, border issues and regional situation.
Earlier, the Afghan president was given guard of honor by a contingent of armed forces as he arrived the President House. President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani welcomed at the President House.
Karzai arrived Islamabad to attend a Trilateral Summit of Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Iran’s President would also arrive in Islamabad today.
