Dr. Qaiser appointed as VC Karachi University

Karachi: Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad, who is also  Chancellor of public sector universities of the province including Karachi University, has appointed Professor Dr Muhammad Qaiser as new vice-chancellor (VC) of Karachi University.

According to a notification issued here on Thursday, Dr. Qaiser has been appointed for a four-year tenure .

Earlier on January 4, the outgoing VC Pirzada Qasim was given extension and there were report he would be appointed for another tenure. But on Thursday,  Governor House notified appointment of new VC Karachi University.

Currently, Dr. Qaiser is performing  as Vice-Chancellor Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science & Technology (FUUAST).
