Karachi: Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association (PCGA)’s Executive Member, Ahsan-ul-Haq on Saturday said that the production of cotton had reached its peak of the last eight years despite a decline in Sindh due to floods.
Ahsan-ul-Haq told media that the production of cotton was recorded as 14 million bales this year which is a record after 2004.
Ahsan further said that almost 11.4 million of cotton bales were produced in Punjab having an increase of 50 percent from last year.
